Y Ddraig Goch

The poetic tradition in Wales is a significant part of its national identity. This section covers primarily Medieval Welsh poetry at this point, but more will be added. Included are links to primary and secondary resources for the study of 6th century poets Taliesin and Aneirin.

Poetry in Welsh

The purpose of this area is twofold: first, to draw attention to the Welsh-language poetry included in Harvard curricula and the context these courses provide; second, to provide enhanced access to Harvard library resources by organizing them under the relevant poets and literary movements. The material below, although continually expanding, is necessarily selective. In addition to highlighting material special to Harvard, each page points the user to other resources, both licensed and publicly available.
